We at PIBM offer to our students a few tools which can help him/her to exploit this global opportunity. The economic liberalization in India has opened up several opportunities for business students which were not even thought about only a few years back. This has led to a veritable explosion in the number of institutes offering a business degree, i.e. MBA or PGDM, at last count 2000+. But except a handful of institutions who invest in their stakeholders, the rest unfortunately do not invest where investment is critical leading to several magazines dubbing these institutions as teaching shops. We at PIBM have consistently invested in our stakeholders, be it faculties, students, support staff etc. and the results are there for all to see as national and international giants like Volkswagen, Skoda, Parle, ITC, HUL, Aditya Birla Retail, Maerskline, Bajaj Capital, Edelweiss, HDFC Life, Federal Bank, Kotak Group, Aircel, Delloitte to mention a few MNCs who regularly source talent from PIBM. The unique pedagogy followed by PIBM starts right from the time a student joins us. He is introduced to the best pedagogic tools like classroom teaching by faculties with 20+ years field experience, consistently monitored with presentations after every few lectures to get a feedback of the student’s absorption of the theory along with continuous improvement of their communication skills. This pedagogy is enhanced further by regular interactions with senior corporate executives like Vice Presidents and Business heads. PIBM has also invested in a dedicated team of communication specialists where the communication skills of students are evaluated continuously and individual training is provided to make all students good communicators. But we at PIBM believe that the journey has only begun and we have a long way to go to be counted as an institution of excellence globally.
